CANTINA, with an authentic ceviche bar, offers an eye-catching array of this made-to-order delicacy, Peru's beloved "cousin" of crudo, poké and sashimi, and provides diners with a unique and special culinary experience. The food is really healthy and totally authentic. The preparation, right out there in front of everyone, is a first in New York City. It all adds up to not only great food, but dining as theater.
CANTINA's raw bar includes luxurious Champagne and oyster pairings, as well as classic Peruvian fare, like Papa Rellena, a comforting stuffed potato dish and Butifarra, an Andean salute to the ham sandwich. After 10 pm, live Latin music and DJs amplify the vibrant vibe. As a prelude to POPULAR or a nightcap destination, CANTINA, a hot Latin bar, offers a table full of flavor.
Pisco Bar offers a definitive selection of Peru's beloved spirit, pisco, a sultry and aromatic grape brandy that shines in crowd pleasing cocktails like the POPULAR Pisco Sour. The bar's version uses a pisco made from the Quebranta variety, known as the "macho" grape for its strength.
